Tips for success:
Try to get a hydrogen fluoride tower ASAP, it deals consistent acid damage which is needed by wave 5. Just be careful with the placement of it, I recommend close to the track near the enemy spawn.
Upgrade your atoms before creating compounds; atoms can no longer be upgraded after being part of a compound.

I have run into this bug where every time I place my starting Hydrogen, it will turn off all atomic symbols. How do I fix this? Thanks!
Hey thanks for letting me know about that! It may just be a bug that I've missed, if you have atomic symbols turned on in the settings menu then I'll need to find a fix for that
Yeah, I toggle atomic symbols on and off in settings, and it keeps them off no matter what I do.
well, don't try to play for 9 hours straight. infinite has it's limits.
alraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaight - i see where this is going ... : D
For all of you who made it to inf. 20, what setups did you use?
I used HNO3 for acid (and damage), LiBr for damage, LiOH and NaOH for alkaline elements, and Argon of course because... uhh... it makes everything into a damage powerhouse
Generally I create compounds with the most elements and that's it XD
Today I used
CH4 - explodes
HNO3 - just rush it
CF4 (mistakenly written CH4) - slowing enemies
NCl3 - just support
2x SO2 - poison dmg
PH3 - flamethrower
O2 - for dmg and allowing CH4 to explode
Be2C - just support and big particles
2x MgCO3 - lasers
AlCl3 - just support
with this I got to inf71 and decided that I don't want to sit here for any more hours but I think I could get to 100+
went to inf40+ with this: HF & FOOF for rounds 1-10, NaOH and Ozone for support somewhere in between 1-10, CF4 and NCl3 for 10-15, add Ar to make NCl3 homing, fill remaining space with NaOH or FOOF and this should hold deep into the inf rounds
edit: let it play out a few more rounds and it seems like there's no additional scaling past inf40+ afaik, currently at inf56 and i don't think i will be testing it further
heyyy!!!!!!!!:333
Amazing game! Helped me remember Chemestry classes from Highschool and when they taught us about the evil antimatter that fights our beloved Hidrogen...
Jokes aside, very educational and fun to play!:)
The escape button doesn't actually stop the game tho... that may be a bug.
Keep up the good work:)
Thank you for trying it out!
sometimes when i click an element, usually left side of inventory, it says i cant place it anywhere and the outline just stays on my cursor, and i can't place them.
very cool and fun game though!
You can right click on that atom in the inventory to sell it and continue playing. The atom is sadly gone tho.
far as i made it so far is infinite 10
went overboard on dibromine with lock on. crashed the game a bit.
inf 17 now
infinite 20 and it broke? ended?
i like the game , what is the name of the song in the first level?
Thanks! the song is ランプ Lamp
enemies stopped spawning after inf20
Hey thanks for letting me know I'll take a look at that
any luck on that yet?
hey should be fixed now so that the infinite levels do continue infinitely, also added one more extra difficult enemy type for wave 20+
Very nice game concept.
has anyone gotten past the new enemies that appear at inf. 10? they're super tanky and the only thing that can break their shield seems to be HNO3 if the laser hits for a full second, and by then its quite easy to be overwhelmed
i used H2S, CF4, HNO3 and AsH3 with O2 and H2O support (which deals amazing damage btw - all unshielded enemies die before they turn the second bend)
dinitrogen and argon make a dumb combo of basically autolocking freezers. throw in phosphine for continuous damage and you're basically watching them cook.
Hydrogen Sulfide best for early and start of infinite up to inf10
Shield mechanic sucks, I consistently lose to wave 6 because my acid tower (never multiple of them by then) just cannot hit all of the shielded enemies
Edit: Get HCl, otherwise you be dead, I got to Infinite 6 with it.
Great game, but compound choices won't show if the list is too long, as it goes out of the screen boundaries D:
please make older versions available
Love the game and the mechanics, only problem being the UI disapears at the start of most rounds making it difficult to actually play it. But other than that its a great game, thanks Wunoumenal!
As far as i can tell these bugs happen mainly on iOS (mobile)
It's on the computers as well.
how to counter shielded enemies?
upd. HF did it
HCl is my go to for early-game, and HNO3 for late game (in infinite). HF's hitboxes are just really unreliable and luck-based.
i want to like it but when all of the the ui text dispears, it's... tricky to play.
I think the electron cloud collision hitbox could be bigger. Other than that it's a real cool idea, good development thus far. Good luck with the rest of the project!

element/compound statsheet of v2
I am writing this comment for all of you.
This has been a problem since the first version.
PLEASE FIX PROJECTILE AIM
Very cool game, but would be nice if you could sell atoms from your inventory
Yes, this!! I mean I kind of do find the strategizing about inventory space to be quite fun, so if it's togglable I'd love that. When I want to chill with this game, I don't want to be having to plan 90 element rerolls ahead, but if I want to sweat, I kind of want the option to.
if you die and click reset nothing spawns
why does oxygen branch have such bad aim
Is this how the game should start?
How do I start without anything?
hey the positioning of the inventory is bad at the moment so you need to fullscreen or zoom on the page if you're not seeing it, there will be an update in a few days that addresses these issues though. sorry for the difficulties
music is fire
i somehow got NH3 by putting Sodium and 3 Hydrogen in my inventory, but not Nitrogen and 3 Hydrogen ??
Hi thanks for pointing this out, there are a couple bugged elements but these will be addressed in the update!
Strategy (as of 18 feb)
Tips
Shop at the left (click to buy and place it into inventory)
Top left = coins
Inventory: Click the atom and click the position to place atom
Reaction: Click a atom on the field and have the other atoms for the compound in your inventory. Then click the compound
RIGHT CLICK WHILE PLACING CANCEL PLACEMENT!!!!!!
right click on molecule to delete molecule
Saturation: Maximum amount of molecules
Placement
Place traps at the start near the edge to maximize the DPS efficiency and reduce trap spread (Cl has a large spread! the traps near the end run out a lot so place it at the start at the left)(If you have traps remember to wait a bit before starting)
Laser has infinite range as long as nothing else exists in its range that causes it to retarget. Place it at mid-end
Place buffs like SiC inside the hexagon. (if possible, between exit and entrance)
Place projectile near start/end, and near buffs. (between exit and entrance too!)
Place stuff near the track PLEASE because after you get to infinity slow projectiles can miss
EARLY GAME (wave 1-4)
Buy: Li, C, H, N
Avoid: Ar, Be, O
(O*: Oxygen compounds with non-oxygen are good, if you can make one than make one! CO is overpowered, it has 5/6/13/1, compared to LiOH 7/7/12/1 but a bit less rare and expensive.)
LiOH, CO, HF, CH4 is VERY powerful for its rarity. it is good for early-game
Pre-place carbon at the start for SiC in the future.
MID GAME (wave 4-inf)
Buy Li!!!!!
SiC and H2O is a god level buffer! Great for mid-late game
(Optional) Place 1 laser to finish off random particles
LATE GAME (wave inf-....)
Buy, place and delete to continue rolling for good atoms.
Spam LiBr (the best tower) if possible, if not you can use these other options:
AsH3, CH4, HF, CO, LiOH etc (Theres a turret stat list in another comment!)
Have 3 buffs (any combination of SiC(best) /SiO2/H2O)
Always stay at 9 saturation! You can buy more to roll for LiBr, buffs and good turrets
Suggestions:
Radioactive material:
- Tempoary, decaying tower! It decays to another atom / require constant feeding of a atom to work
- Microwave! Constantly deal damage in a small AOE
- Instead of towers, deploy a tempoary "Troop" (alpha particle) to fight!
Carbon-based molecules: Allow stacking carbon and hydrogen to ~C5H12, and upgrade the stats a bit.
Debuff: Towers can debuff like tempoarily decrease particle speed!
Randomness: Towers can shoot randomly OR Towers will always shoot the last particle
Buying space: You can use coins to buy more saturation, but each time you buy a space the price increases
Balancing:
Make projectile speed constant / follows the ball, so towers like Oxygen can hit targets easier
Nerf Lithium/Oxygen compounds like LiBr, MgCO3
"SELL" towers for 50% its original cost by right clicking
Prevent accidentally crafting "BUFF" turrets and wasting all your money and turrets making you fail the game somehow
Range: Show the range of the atom when you are in atom place mode, or show the range of the compound(s) when in atom combine mode
How do you get a coin
Cool game but there are some bugs I went through and tested the elements and two of them don't work also AlCl3 I think got activated by some totally different combination of Al and H here is the table I made

Nice concept! The rules are kind of confusing if you don't watch the YouTube video though... The graphics need some work, and a "Cancel" button for when you click an element and you don't want to place it would be nice.
The elements in your "inventory" could be organized like a deck of cards at the bottom of the screen like Yu-Gi-Oh or those poker games. Or, it could be somewhat like Minecraft's hotbar. (Basically, what I wanna say is that where they're currently at 1. Does not suggest that they're interactable 2. Does not tell you how they're used/what they're there for and 3. Block stuff, but I'm too dumb to properly word that and my brain doesn't function properly at 1:30 am)
There can also be a game menu, so that you aren't directly tossed into the game. On that note, the other waves don't start unless you click a button, so why make Wave 1 an exception?
Instead of making all the combinations available all at once and confusing to the uninitiated (like me), maybe make them collectable over a series of levels? So that they're like skills that a player can choose, then familiarize themselves over the course of a game?
Maybe make an element glow or otherwise indicate that it can be combined?
On a separate note, the game window isn't centered... and as @Iedah pointed out below, the first free tower (Hydrogen) doesn't appear unless you go fullscreen
Wracking my brain, I suddenly remembered another elements game I've played recently (I think it's similar. Don't sue me, sue sleep deprivation.). It's called Fusioneer, if you frequent r/Webgames you might've seen it: http://dreammodule.com/fusioneer
Did you know? Slitherio and Agario can both be found in r/Webgames... ah, the nostalgia...
Thank you for all the feedback! I will resume working on this project soon and should have a substantial update in about 2 weeks :]
Update to the game outdated my document. But a really fun concept for a tower defence game.
The starting 1 Hydrogen atom is either missing or I don't know where to click
Hi, the anchoring/resolution scaling on it isn't very good, you probably just need to fullscreen the game to be able to see it. Hope this helps
